Golf training glove

The correct grip is essential for a solid golf swing. Yet many golfers struggle with this fundamental aspect of their game. Our ‘Grip Bar' golf training glove allows golfers to train their hand positioning, find the right angle, and achieve cleaner, more controlled strikes.

The grip on the club is the primary influence on the behaviour of the clubface. Losing control of this aspect leads to unwanted fades (left-to-right shot shape for a right-hander) and inconsistency. This golf training device leads to consistent grip habits, enabling golfers to find their sweet spot, and gain distance, accuracy and reliability overall.

Find our golf training gloves here. They are available for left-handed and right-handed golfers, in junior, women and men's sizes.

HOW TO USE GRIPBAR 101

For our product to work to its full potential there are a few things that are very important to bear in mind:

  • Ensure the clubhead is 90 degrees in relation to the target. Just because you are holding the grip in the correct place this will not govern the clubface itself being in the correct position before you start your golf swing.
  • When gripping the club, you must have all of your glove hand on the golf club, leave at least 1cm from the end of the club for a normal set-up.
  • Both thumbs should be past your index fingers when gripping the club, but in a relaxed manner, as this creates more stability in the swing.
  • Lastly placement of your glove hand is very important, the badge of your golf glove must point at the horizon somewhere between the target and the sky, to give you the best chance again of getting the clubface back to a square position or 90 degrees in relation to the target.
